Well, I have a buyer for the gun, but it'll take him another 2 or 3 weeks to get the money.

I've been listening to the band HIM, the one Bam Margera got the heartogram from.  They are pretty good actually and have some quite interesting bass parts.

I was at a competition 4 weeks ago with the Enfield (WWII gun) and did pretty good, getting almost everything in the black except when I changed ammo and stupidly forgot to resight the rear open sight, costing me points.  This Sunday there's another competition and I have ammo on order (hoping it gets here by then) so that I won't have to change.

I think there is another band in the making in da Valley here with me Reynolds, G, and Betz.  We just need a singer...but we're doing really good and its better than with Chronic Tide cause everyone knows note names and pays attention to each other.  We'll see...

I can't wait for Christmas to be over.  I've been tired of Christmas music for 3 weeks now and I guess Christmas just isn't special anymore...

Anyway, the assault rifle I have is now up for sale at $800.  I'm selling it to get a competition legal rifle to start getting into long range competitions.  It is an HK91 clone in .308 (7.62x51mm NATO) and comes with an illuminated scope (closest thing to night vision without actually having it), a 2 rail tactical mount, Tri-Rail scope rings that have 3 mounting rails in addition to the 2 on the actual mount, standard weaver scope rings, 2 steel 20 round magazines, tactial weapons case, a heavy bipod like military machine guns have, a military 3-point sling, the sight adjustment tool, 500 rounds of military surplus ammunition, and 75+/- rounds of match/hunting ammunition.  This rifle gets 2" square groups at 100 yards with open sights and I haven't had the chance to use the scope yet on it. It's been cleaned in and out with the best cleaners to get the best accuracy out of it and has a bright shiny bore and the rifling is basically pristine.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm pretty happy.  Rammstein came out with their 5th album, Rosenrot (rose-red) and it is very awesome.  I was at the rifle range on Monday for the whole day and had very great successes with my shooting.  With the sniper/assault gun I had 2" x 3" groupings at 100 yards, which isn't as good as it can be, but I'm still working.  I just know that out to about 300 yards I can easily hit something as big as a human skull!  lol  But I won't do that unless the towel heads get over here.  I had a 2" square group with the WWII rifle at 100 yards.  I think thats pretty good for a gun that went through battle and that is 62 years old.  Don't forget that this was with all open sights for both guns.  I can't imagine what would happen if I'd get scopes and get to the range!

While I was down at the range, the guy, who is my dad's friend, that takes me into the club as a guest got out his .22 competition handguns and let me use them.  He's been working on his shooting to get into competition for a number of years and he said I did better than he has ever did my first time.  It really is a challenge!  You have to use one arm, holding the 4 pound gun out straight at the target that is 25 yards away.  The challenge is to slow fire 10 rounds in the 2" circle at 25 yards...which Sam got none in and I had 6 out of 10.  After I tried again, my arm was tired and success rate dropped off, so now while watching TV I hold a 5 pound weight out straight in front of me to build up endurance and steadiness for the scrimage competition in April.  I think I'm going to seriously get into .22 handgun conmpetition.  I also got to do rapid fire .22 with both hands on the plates in a line, and bowling pins just like the arcade games at Disney!

Auf Wiedersehen und viel gluck zu alles!

I think its time for an update...

Summer's almost over...great.  I got together with my friends 3 times...thats IT.  And now cause of band camp I probably won't be for the rest of the summer.  Karen's and my schedules have been contradicting each other the whole summer so we couldn't do much of anything, and I got half laid-off at work too.

I really don't wanna go back to school because from what I hear, 11th grade is Tri-Valley's most demanding year...also its the first year I have to actually work hard cause its these next 2 years that will really matter.  Plus with my job I can't get as many hours in during school because the store closes at 7 so its only 3 hours a night.

The only good things are that during school I'll be with all my friends, and Schuylkill Youth Symphony starts up again.  Plus the fact I got myself 2 more cool guns over the summer, they should keep me occupied over the winter hunting months.

    I love you Karen!
